Josh Allen: "I Got Back to Being Me" After Week 2 Win

Following a lackluster performance in the season opener, Buffalo Bills' quarterback Josh Allen found himself under significant pressure during Week 2.

The Madden 24 cover star, known for his four costly and avoidable turnovers, played a part in the team's 22-16 defeat to the New York Jets.

It seemed that Allen had failed to learn from his past mistakes, as he had led the league in turnovers in the previous season, leaving fans and observers questioning his ability to bounce back.

Despite the doubts, Allen made a triumphant return to form in Week 2, completing 31 out of 37 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns, all without a single turnover against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Interestingly, after the game, Allen revealed that he had intentionally disconnected from all media throughout the week.

"To be honest, I didn't pay any attention to reactions. I deliberately avoided all forms of media," Allen stated on September 17th.

He went on to express his desire to recapture the feeling he had in the previous week, understanding that the game of football offers both extreme lows and incredible highs.

"That's the nature of the game—it gives you the highest highs and the lowest lows. But I yearn for the feeling I had last week. I genuinely believe in it," Allen said.

Allen emphasized that experiencing adversity makes everything else seem better and pushes them to improve.

He expressed his ambition to become the best quarterback for the Buffalo Bills and the best player in the game.

In the face of challenges, Allen chose to embrace both the hardships and the successes, aiming to harness them to his advantage.
